Introducing Tesamorelin, a specialized formulation featuring a growth hormone-releasing factor (GRF) designed to target excess abdominal fat associated with certain HIV treatments, commonly known as lipodystrophy.

Please note that Tesamorelin is not intended for weight loss and should not be used for obesity management.

Important Usage Restrictions:

• Tesamorelin is not a weight loss solution and has a weight-neutral effect.
• There is currently no evidence to suggest that Tesamorelin enhances adherence to antiretroviral therapy in HIV-positive individuals.

Dosage Guidelines:

The standard dosage for Tesamorelin is 2 mg, administered subcutaneously once daily. The abdomen is the preferred injection site, and it?s recommended to rotate injection locations within the abdominal area. Avoid injecting into scarred, bruised areas, or near the navel.

Reconstitution Instructions:

To prepare Tesamorelin, reconstitute the medication using the included diluent. Combine the 2 mg vial of Tesamorelin with 2.1 mL of the diluent. Gently roll the vial in your hands for 30 seconds to mix?do not shake.
