Discover the power of CJC-1295, a cutting-edge synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) composed of 30 amino acids. This remarkable peptide is renowned for significantly boosting growth hormone and IGF-1 secretion while preserving the natural pulsatility of growth hormone release.
CJC-1295 is often combined with Ipamorelin, amplifying its effectiveness as a GHRH. While both peptides elevate growth hormone levels, CJC-1295 stands out by not increasing appetite or elevating cortisol, acetylcholine, prolactin, or aldosterone levels like other peptides. Its excellent tolerability makes it an ideal companion to Ipamorelin for enhanced results.
Target Gland: Pituitary
Benefits of CJC-1295:
- Stimulates growth hormone and IGF-1 secretion without raising prolactin levels
- Enhances body composition through improved protein synthesis
- Promotes muscle growth
- Increases bone density
- Boosts immune function
- Improves cognitive function and memory
- Supports collagen production
- Facilitates fat loss
- Aids in cellular repair and regeneration
CJC-1295 also promotes deep, restorative sleep, crucial for optimal muscle growth, memory retention, and rejuvenation.
Understanding CJC-1295:
GHRH is produced in the hypothalamus, triggering the pituitary gland to secrete growth hormone in a pulsatile manner. However, GHRH has a fleeting half-life of just a few minutes. The first 29 amino acids of GHRH make up its active portion, available in the form of a peptide known as Sermorelin. To extend its half-life to 30 minutes, Sermorelin is modified to create CJC-1295. Further enhancement comes from the addition of a Drug Affinity Complex (DAC), which binds to blood protein albumin, extending its half-life to eight days, resulting in CJC-1295 + DAC. Alternatively, CJC-1295 can be formulated without DAC to mimic a more natural growth hormone spike each night.
The impressive half-life extension from DAC means that injections are only required once or twice a week. This prolonged presence maintains a steady stimulus for pituitary growth hormone release via the GHRH receptor, although it can lead to a reduced natural growth hormone pulse amplitude.
Safety Considerations:
For those using the long-acting CJC molecule, it's recommended to take 'hormone holidays' of three months every three to six months to allow the pituitary gland to recover. During these breaks, Sermorelin is suggested as a substitute for CJC-1295 + DAC.
These 'hormone holidays' may also help minimize the risk of developing growth hormone resistance, which could theoretically occur due to antibodies forming that inactivate growth hormone or a decrease in growth hormone receptors in tissues. While these concerns are theoretical, it's worth noting that no long-term studies have fully explored them.
Possible side effects of CJC-1295 may include injection site reactions (like irritation, redness, swelling, pain, or itching), headaches, diarrhea, vasodilation (flushing, warmth, or temporary low blood pressure), nausea, and abdominal discomfort.
