  • Have narrow-angle glaucoma (increased eye pressure)
  • Suffer from serious heart conditions that may worsen with increased heart rate or blood pressure, which Strattera can cause
  • Have experienced significant vascular issues, such as stroke or aneurysm
  • Have a pheochromocytoma (adrenal gland tumor)

    • If any of these apply to you, refrain from using Strattera and consult your healthcare provider for guidance, as the medication may exacerbate these conditions.

    Warnings and Considerations

    Both children and adults should heed the following warnings before using Strattera. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have:

  • Suicidal thoughts or tendencies
  • Cardiac issues, including heart defects or rapid heartbeat?Strattera has been linked to increased heart rates and rare instances of sudden death in individuals with pre-existing heart conditions

  • Monitoring your blood pressure and heart rate before and during Strattera treatment

  • Significant medical conditions (like heart issues) in you or your family
