SUBSTANCE
GHRH Peptide
Introducing CJC-1295, a powerful synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) that consists of 30 amino acids. This innovative peptide is known for its remarkable ability to stimulate growth hormone release and elevate IGF-1 levels without disrupting the natural pulsatile secretion of growth hormone.
CJC-1295 is often paired with Ipamorelin, enhancing its effectiveness as a GHRH. While Ipamorelin also promotes growth hormone release, it does so without the unwanted side effects like appetite stimulation or elevated levels of cortisol, acetylcholine, prolactin, and aldosterone seen in other peptides. Together, they create a well-tolerated and synergistic effect.
Target Gland: Pituitary
Experience the benefits of CJC-1295, which include:
- Enhanced growth hormone and IGF-1 secretion without increasing prolactin levels
- Improved body weight and length through elevated protein synthesis
- Accelerated muscle growth
- Increased bone density
- Boosted immune function
- Enhanced cognitive abilities and memory retention
- Elevated collagen production
- Increased fat loss
- Improved cellular repair and regeneration
Benefits of CJC-1295:
One of the standout features of CJC-1295 is its ability to promote deep, restorative slow-wave sleep, which is crucial for optimal muscle growth, memory retention, and overall rejuvenation.
GHRH is naturally produced in the hypothalamus, where its pulsatile release triggers growth hormone secretion from the pituitary gland. However, GHRH has a very short half-life of just a few minutes, which limits its effectiveness due to rapid clearance from the bloodstream.
Types of CJC-1295:
The active portion of GHRH consists of the first 29 amino acids and is available as the synthetic peptide Sermorelin. This was further modified to extend its half-life to 30 minutes, resulting in CJC-1295. An additional enhancement, the Drug Affinity Complex (DAC), binds to albumin in the blood, extending the half-life to approximately 8 days and creating CJC-1295 + DAC. CJC-1295 can also be formulated without DAC for a more natural nighttime growth hormone surge.
Thanks to the extended half-life provided by DAC, injections are required only once or twice a week. However, this prolonged presence in the bloodstream may lead to continuous stimulation of growth hormone release from the pituitary, which might not reflect natural physiology. This could potentially diminish the amplitude of growth hormone pulses, leading to reduced stimulation in target tissues.
To ensure optimal function, it's recommended to take "hormone holidays" of three months every three to six months during long-term CJC-1295 + DAC use, allowing the pituitary gland to recover. During these breaks, Sermorelin can be utilized as an alternative.
Safety:
These breaks can help mitigate the risk of developing resistance to growth hormone, which may occur due to antibody formation or down-regulation of growth hormone receptors in tissues. While these concerns are theoretical and lack extensive long-term studies, they are worth considering.
Potential side effects of CJC-1295 may include injection site reactions (such as irritation, redness, swelling, pain, or itching), headaches, diarrhea, vasodilation (flushing, warmth, brief hypotension), nausea, and abdominal discomfort.
